- Spread the tomato paste over the bottom half of the rolls evenly.
- Mix together the Italian seasoning, onion powder and salt. Spread half of the spices evenly across the tomato paste, saving the rest for the top.
- Add the slices of pepperoni evenly over the tomato paste and seasoning so you have a good layer of meat. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the pepperoni.
- Place the top half of the rolls on top and gently press down.
- In a small bowl mix the melted butter and garlic together, then brush the butter mixture over the top of the rolls.
- Sprinkle remaining Italian Seasoning and onion powder evenly across the butter spread.

Can I Use Pizza Sauce or Spaghetti Sauce Instead Of Tomato Paste?
Yes you can swap pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce for tomato paste in this recipe. When spreading sauce on the rolls just add a thin layer or your sliders may become soggy.
Tomato paste is a more concentrated tomato flavor and is less liquidy than tomato sauce is.
