The kid wanted something “fun to drink,” and it was one of those melt-your-face-off summer days. I was tempted to head out for something cold, but instead we blended frozen peaches with a lot of lemon juice and made a big batch to share at dinner that night!

Why We Love Peach Lemonade
- Refreshing Summer Flavor – Peaches just scream it’s summertime as it’s when they are at their best. Lean into that fun flavor combo, delicious!
- Fun For A Party – You may want to make an extra pitcher, because if you make this for your BBQ or picnic you’re going to watch it disappear.
- Great Way To Enjoy Some Fruit – I’m not a huge fan of being sneaky with fruits and vegetables, BUT adding fruit to something you know the family will enjoy? Now we’re talking!

- frozen peaches – defrosted. Blending them frozen gives you a slushie-style drink.
Fresh peaches work too! Just peel and pit them, and taste to adjust the sweetness depending on how ripe they are. - sugar (divided)
- cold water
- lemon juice fresh lemons, but you can also use bottled lemon juice if you prefer
How to Sweeten Peach Lemonade
Sweetness is totally personal when it comes to lemonade, and your peaches might be sweeter or less sweet depending on the batch. I’ve listed a sugar amount that works for us, but feel free to start with half and add more to taste.
Using a sugar substitute? Go for it! Just keep in mind that things like honey, Stevia, monk fruit, or Splenda can be way sweeter than regular sugar, so add a little at a time and taste as you go.
How To Make Peach Lemonade
- Defrost peaches on the counter for 30 minutes.
- Place peaches, ½ cup water and 1 tablespoon sugar in a blender. Puree until smooth. If peach puree is too thick to obtain a smooth consistency, add additional water from the remaining 4 cups of water.

- Squeeze lemons, being sure to remove and strain seeds.
How To Juice Lemons Easily
Juice those lemons easier by rolling them on the table first with a little pressure. This helps break up the fibers inside before you juice them, making them easier to juice.

- Pour peach puree into a 2 quart container and add remaining water, 1 cup sugar and all lemon juice. Stir until well blended and sugar dissolves. Serve chilled or over ice and enjoy!

Kid Friendly Kitchen Tasks – Let Them Help!
Let the kids help! Little kids can stir the lemonade, help measure the sugar and love pushing the blender button. Older kids can also juice the lemons!
Peach Lemonade Variations
Add Iced Tea – By adding unsweetened iced tea in place of some or all of the water you can make a peach Arnold Palmer, which is really delicious. An Arnold Palmer is a mix of lemonade and iced tea.
Try Adding Fresh Fruit – Add slices of fresh lemon and or fresh peaches to make this drink feel extra refreshing. You can add them on the rim of the glass or straight to the pitcher. This looks really pretty for serving.
Add Other Fruit – Peach lemon is great on its own, but try adding berries like strawberry, blueberry, blackberries or raspberries. You can blend frozen fruit in with the peaches for more flavor or float some fresh pieces in your drink.
Muddle Some Mint – Muddle just means to mush it up a little bit, so the fresh mint releases more of its flavor. Some fresh sprigs of mint muddled or chopped a little give a great fresh flavor to this drink. I started growing some mint in a pot on the porch every summer just to add to our drinks!
Make It Fizzy – Add sparkling water or lemon lime soda to make this lemonade a little bubbly!
This recipe is totally kid friendly, but you can also turn a glass of it into a fun adult drink too.
Peach Lemonade FAQ
Yes, you can easily make this lemonade a day or two before a party. Just store in the refrigerator and give it a good stir before serving, as sometimes the peach can settle at the bottom.
Sure, this recipe can freeze. You can defrost it as you want to enjoy or pour it into popsicle molds to enjoy as a cold treat!
Pour any extra peach lemonade into popsicle molds and freeze. It’s a fun way to beat the heat and reduce waste, plus the kids love them!
You don’t have to strain the peaches, but it can leave little bits of peach in the drink. You can strain the peach if you prefer.
You will need either a blender or a food processor to make this recipe. An immersion blender also can work.
If you have really ripe peaches, you may be able to make this recipe without any added sugar as they can sometimes be sweet enough on their own. Peaches have natural sugar in them and aren’t sugar free. You can also use an alternative sweetener, like Splenda, as needed.
Adding extra lemons can make this recipe more tart, as can reducing the amount of sugar you add. If your lemonade is too tangy you can add a little more sweetener, a few extra blended peaches, or add some water to help balance the flavors.

Kristy’s Party Tip – Keeping It Cold!
Want to keep the lemonade cold without watering it down? Freeze a few peach or lemon slices and toss them into the pitcher like fruity ice cubes! You can also freeze some of the lemonade into ice cubes, so it doesn’t water down as the ice melts.
How Long Will Peach Lemonade Last?
Expect this peach lemonade will last for about 5 days if stored in a covered container in the refrigerator.
