Peach Dump Cake
Gooey peach dump cake takes a classic peach cobbler and makes it with cake mix for an easy, warm peach dessert perfect for an easy dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 cans peaches, 15 ounces each 2 cans with juice, 1 can drained
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon divided
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 15.25 ounces yellow cake mix dry
- 8 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 pan with spray oil. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Pour two cans of peaches with juice and one can of drained peaches into the prepared pan. Sprinkle peaches with ½ teaspoon cinnamon, setting the rest of the cinnamon to the side.3 cans peaches, 15 ounces each, ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- In a medium mixing bowl, mix together brown sugar, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon and salt and set to the side.¾ teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ cup brown sugar, ⅛ teaspoon salt
- Dump the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches. Spread lightly and but evenly with a spatula.15.25 ounces yellow cake mix
- Slice butter into thin pats. Place butter all over the cake, covering as much cake mix surface as possible.8 tablespoons butter
- Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture all over butter evenly.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until the cake is lightly browned on top and bubbly around the edges. Let cool for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy.
