These easy air fryer biscuit donuts are fluffy, warm, and coated in buttery cinnamon sugar for a quick homemade breakfast or sweet treat. Made with refrigerated biscuit dough, they're ready in minutes and only need four ingredients.
Ingredients
16ouncesbiscuit doughcanned refrigerated, like Pillsbury Grands or similar
¾cupwhite sugar
1tablespooncinnamonground
3tablespoonsbuttermelted
Instructions
Preheat the airfryer to 350 degrees for 2 minutes on air fry mode. Remove biscuits from can and separate the individual pieces.
16 ounces biscuit dough
Remove the center of each biscuit with a small cookie cutter or a circular bottle cap at least an inch wide to make a donut shape. The dough expands as it cooks, so a tiny hole can close completely. Set the center of the biscuit dough to the side to make them into donut holes.
Place the donuts in a single layer with space between each one. Don't overcrowd the basket or the donuts won't brown as evenly. Cook in batches if needed. Spray both sides of the donut lightly with spray oil. Cook for 4-5 minutes, turning the donuts halfway through cook time.
Combine sugar and cinnamon in a shallow, wide bowl. Melt butter in a medium size microwave-safe bowl. Both bowls need to be wide enough to fit the donut inside.
¾ cup white sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 3 tablespoons butter
Dip both sides of each donut in the melted butter. Immediately dip the butter-covered donut in cinnamon sugar on both sides. Serve hot and enjoy!
