This pepperoni dip recipe is perfect for game day, a family party, or just a fun movie night. This cheesy, gooey dip that tastes like pizza will steal the show!
Ingredients
8ouncescream cheesesoftened
¾cupsour cream
¼cupparmesan cheesefinely grated, divided
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
¾teaspoongarlic powder
¾teaspoononion powder
¼teaspoonblack pepper
¾cupmarinara sauce
1 ½cupsmozzarella cheesegrated
14slicespepperonibetween 14-18 slices
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Spray a 9 inch pie pan lightly with cooking spray. See notes for other pan options.
Place softened cream cheese and sour cream in a medium bowl and mix together until smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of parmesan, Italian seasonings, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper to the cream cheese mixture and stir until combined.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over bottom of the pie pan.
Spoon marinara sauce evenly over the cream cheese. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of parmesan and all of the mozzarella cheese over the marinara. Layer pepperoni evenly over the mozzarella cheese.
Place the pan in the oven, Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly around the edges.
Sprinkle with fresh basil or parsley if desired after baking. Serve with baguette slices, flat pretzels, veggies, or pita chips and enjoy!
Notes
This recipe can be made in a pie pan, a cast iron skillet or a ceramic baking dish. I've used a round pie pan, but a square pan (like a brownie pan,) oval or rectangular pan also works. You need a pan that is between 8-9 inches and can go in the oven.
