These adorable melting snowman cheese ball is flavored with ranch and made into the perfect bite-sized party snacks. Easy and perfect for Christmas, kids, and adults will love this cream cheese recipe to make for the holidays.
Ingredients
8OuncesCream Cheesedivided
2CupsShredded Mozzarella Cheesefinely chopped and divided
1/3CupParmesan Cheese
2TablespoonsRanch Seasoning
1/4cupShredded Carrots
1TeaspoonParsley
24Edible Eyes
Black Food Coloring
12Crackers
Instructions
Using 1 ounce of cream cheese, spread a thin layer on each of the 12 crackers. Sprinkle the crackers with some of the parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese.
In a medium-size mixing bowl, add 6 ounces of the cream cheese (saving one ounce for the arms), seasoning, and 1 ½ cups of the mozzarella cheese. Mix all ingredients well until combined.
Roll your cream cheese mixture into balls that are roughly ½ inch. Roll each ball in parmesan until well coated. Place each ball at the top of a cracker.
Add 2 eyes and a piece of carrot nose to the head.
With the remaining 1 ounce of cream cheese, add a drop or two of black food coloring and mix until it's solid.
Place colored cream cheese in a sandwich size baggie and snip a little off the corner. Squeezing the bag gently, draw on 2 arms, 3 buttons, and a smile.
Notes
If you don't have ranch seasoning hand, a half teaspoon of garlic, a half teaspoon of onion, and a tablespoon of parsley substitutes in a pinch.
