Apple cider doughnut holes are the perfect treat. Packed with apple cider flavor, these baked doughnuts have a sweet cinnamon sugar crunch on the outside.
Ingredients
Doughnut Batter
2cupsall purpose flour
2teaspoonsbaking powder
2teaspoonsground cinnamon
1cupgranulated sugarwhite
½cupapple cider
½cupmilk
1egglightly beaten
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Doughnut Topping
4tablespoonsmelted butter
1/3cupgranulated sugarwhite
2teaspoonscinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a mini muffin pan by coating with cooking spray or melted butter.
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, two teaspoons cinnamon and one cup of sugar, then mix until combined.
Add the apple cider, milk, beaten egg and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix and stir until fully combined into a batter.
Use a small cookie scoop to fill each section of the mini muffin pan about 3/4 full.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cooked all the way through. Use the toothpick test to make sure the batter is cooked through in the center. Remove doughnut holes from pan and let cool for a few minutes. See notes for baking in the air fryer.
Mix together 1/3 cup white granulated sugar and two teaspoon cinnamon. Dip each doughnut hole in melted butter coating the outside, then roll each doughnut in cinnamon sugar. Repeat for all doughnuts then enjoy!

Baking Donuts In The Air Fryer
To bake these donuts in the air fryer you need a silicone egg bite pan or another silicone mini pan. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees then expect these muffins will take about 6-8 minutes to cook through.Check the center of the donuts with a toothpick until cooked all the way through, and work in batches as needed.
