Creamy vanilla ice cream is blended with fresh lemon juice and sweet lemonade for the most perfect slurpable summertime treat. You will love this copycat frosted lemonade recipe that tastes just like Chick-fil-A.
Ingredients
4mediumlemons1/2 cup juice
4cupsvanilla ice cream24 ounces
1 ½cupsSimply Lemonadeor other fresh lemonade
Instructions
Juice lemons and remove any seeds. You need about 1/2 cup of juice total. See notes.
In a blender, add lemonade then ice cream and blend until smooth and frothy; about 1-2 minutes.
Add lemon juice (and pulp if using) to the blender and blend for about 10 seconds or until it has a really creamy texture.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately, enjoy!
Notes
You can use only two lemons if you peel the lemons and use the whole lemon instead of just the juice, plus it gives an even more lemon flavor. Peel the outside of the lemons and remove the white pith pulp from lemon slices, then place the lemon slices in a bowl. Discard seeds and the outer casing of slices. Break inner lemon pulp into smaller pieces and set aside. There should be about ½ cup of pulp and juice between two lemons.
