Sloppy Joes

For hectic nights, this  old-fashioned Sloppy Joe recipe is your go-to dinner.

Quick and hassle-free: brown some beef, add a special sauce, and serve it up on a bun. You’ll have a quick, hearty meal, pronto, that kids and adults will love.

INGREDIENTS:

Place the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the ground beef until brown all the way through, about 6–9 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1:

Add diced onion and bell pepper to the same pan. Season with salt and pepper, and stir.

STEP 2:

Allow the vegetables to soften for 2-3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.

STEP 3:

Place the ground beef back in the pan on top of the vegetables. Pour the diced tomatoes and chili sauce into the pan and stir.

STEP 4:

Wait for the whole mixture to begin to bubble, then let it cook for five minutes. Scoop onto buns and enjoy!
